Tags
Tags also known as HTML Tags are elements that are used to create HTML documents. The tags and their attributes instruct a web browser how to display a web page. Tags are written as plain text and are inclosed between the less-than and more-than symbols (as if they were brackets).
Tags are also used in XML documents in a similar way to HTML tags.
Tags can also refer to keywords that are attached to a web page or image. Tagging content allows for easier searching and association with other similarly tagged content.
