Internet
The Internet is a global computer network that is publicly accessible and is used for transmitting various digital information.
The Internet uses the TCP/IP network protocol and is connected by undersea cables, satellite and terrestrial telecoms.
The Internet allows a multitude of services to run on this global network. The World Wide Web is the best known of these services, others include FTP, Email, P2P and VoIP.
