Hypertext
Hypertext is the name given to text that is shown on a computer screen. The most common example of hypertext is the information on the World Wide Web. Hypertext has the special ability to link to other hypertext documents. These links are known as hyperlinks.
Hypertext has given rise to the following terms; HTML, HTTP and HTTPS.
