Download
To download or downloading is the process of retrieving a file from a distant server computer to a client computer.
Typically this refers to receiving a file or data from a remote destination via the Internet.
Download corresponds to receiving information. Upload is the opposite of download.
Most internet connections have a larger bandwidth for downloading as compared to uploading. This is because the majority of internet users spend more time viewing information (downloading) than sending information (uploading).
